We are on the West Coast and will be traveling east with our current sophomore this summer to visit some NESCAC schools. Would coaches be receptive to meeting with a rising junior? Academic stats are very strong and kid would be a strong to solid recruit to all schools. I don't know if we will be able to make another trip so I'd like to take advantage of this one, but I'm not sure how kid would be received. Thanks for any insight.

I’m sure most schools would be receptive to an unofficial visit for a meet and greet if available.

Please keep in mind that NESCAC and other academic schools will view her as a possible bona fide athletic recruit when her SAT/ACT results meet their requirements.

We started the unofficial visits as a rising junior with my son and it was perfect timing. As long as she is a viable candidate for the schools you are looking at. Connecting with the coaches is the hard part. If you email they could possibly send a 1 time email saying they cannot correspond with you but if a cell # is attached then you just call it… Good luck
