When it comes to those intro classes...

When it comes to those intro classes that many students take, is it better to go with the large lecture with real prof/discussion group setting or with the smaller class with grad student setting at UVa? All current students' opinions welcome.

If you have a choice? It depends what you want to get out of lecture. I suppose the smaller class would motivate me to go …

I’d go with the one with the most generous curve…

How do you know that in advance?

Cavalier, haha, don’t advertise thecourseforum…It’s a pretty well-kept secret.

Doesn’t matter to me, wahoomb! As of today I’m done with this whole undergraduate thing  .

Congrats!!!

Only a fraction of the instructors are listed so the course forum is really not that valuable.

Congrats Cav302.

The fraction is significant enough that’s it’s still an extremely valuable tool.

Thanks!

Most professors are on there. If by “instructors” you mean TAs, then yeah, a lot of TAs are not there. Sorry if you dont’ think is “really valuable”, but I found it extremely valuable and so did the people I knew.
