Do they have their own letter grade system?

For example, in my school, an A is an 85. when applying to an ivy league, do they have their own criteria, like an A being 95+? Or is it based on your school?

Thats a good question. o.o
I’m curious to know as well.

It’s not just about how the Ivies compare grades. All selective colleges review grades in the context of the high school. Grading policies vary widely from high school to high school. Some weigh based on course rigor, and some don’t. Some grade liberally and some don’t. Some rank and some don’t. Some have tiers of courses – honors, AP etc. – and some don’t. Etc.
