<p>Hi, I was wondering when I absolutely have to take my SAT by :D
I'm applying for UCB and UPenn and I think I've gotta take SATS I and II. If I take SAT II in December and SAT I in January is that gonna be too late? I can't find the information anywhere, except that I gotta have both :(
I've already taken SAT I though (2040) but I don't think it's high enough to get in (correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem even to be the 50th percentile for those schools :().</p>
<p>Oh ya, and is the application deadline the same as deadline for sending our SAT scores in? Or can I just apply and take the test at a later date and send it in after the application deadline?</p>
<p>UCs Nov 30 application deadline is not their test date deadline. However, UCs accept SAT and SAT II scores only through the December testing date; thus Jan would be too late.</p>
<p>As to Penn, though it has a Jan 1 app deadline, it will accept Jan test date scores but puts the following warning on its website:</p>
<p>“Regular Decision candidates should complete all testing by December of their senior year. First-time testing delayed until January will place the applicant at a disadvantage in our evaluation process. Tests retaken in January will be accepted.”</p>
<p>2040 SAT puts you in middle 50% range for both but lower than the midpoint for Penn although close to it for UCB</p>
