When should I ask teachers to write my recommendation letters?

<p>ASAP at my school, we ask end of junior year. </p>

<p>Yeah, end of junior year would have been best, but ask them in person as soon as possible, minus the first day of school (this can be very stressful for teachers and it’s likely they won’t have ample time to talk to you about your rec).</p>
