Basically, I go to a U.K curriculum school and so get no support from my school in terms of SAT. I initially planned on doing my SAT I on May 7 but that falls in between Arabic exams that I also have to sit. About 10 days after that my AS Level exams start. I didn't really want to have a clash between the tests so decided to do the first test the next academic year.

Just seen though that it's not till October. Which means my results will not be in till November. Which means that I might miss out on early entry as I'll need to take subject tests also.

I now have to make a decision by tomorrow night as to whether I will do my test on May 7. Do people on here believe it is worth it?

personally, i think you should take it May 7 as well as the one in the next academic year. i understand you have a lot going on around the May 7 test date, but start studying now for the SAT and just review a couple nights before the test. you aren’t supposed to cram anyway. this way, you can still apply early admission and deal with what you have to do in may that is un-sat related. additionally, if you don’t have the scores you desire, you could take it again in the next academic year just to be safe. when in doubt, just take both! i may eve take the sat three times! by the way, are you aware there is an sat in june?
