<p>Long story short, I submitted the app part two minutes late at 12:02am on 1/2/11, all though all my other parts of the common app were on time. It says downloaded on 1/3/11 but I haven’t received an application status email from Brown yet, though I received one from UPenn two days ago, which I also submitted two minutes late. </p>

<p>I applied November 7th. I got my Brown Password on November 15th. I wouldn’t be concerned for at least another week or so.</p>
<p>Maybe even later than another week - Brown’s pretty tied up right now with getting all the apps in. I wouldn’t worry until at least the 15th of January.</p>
<p>Actually, you were 3 minutes late. The deadline is 11:59 pm because 12:00 am is considered to be 1/2/11 (in your case.) So you probably will never get your Brown password because you didn’t apply in time. Please see the “3 Minute Rule” on Brown’s website.</p>

They must be really swamped with apps and special cases/concerns. I hope I get it soon, though… I also haven’t gotten an ID and pwd from Harvard. All my other schools are good to go.</p>

The only thing is that the financial aid status says that I haven’t submitted my CSS Profile, but on the actual CSS, it shows that they’ve been submitted as of Dec 30. CSS said if this was the case, then the schools actually DO have it, so no worries!</p>
