When should I fill out CSS Profile/FAFSA?

I’ve looked up all the CSS priority deadlines for the schools I’m applying to and they are still a ways away. However, some schools are already emailing me and saying I need to fill the CSS profile out as soon as possible. Would it be good to fill it out as soon as possible or can I wait until the priority deadline?

Also, to my knowledge, the FAFSA for the 2016-2017 school year is not out yet.

Overall, I’m pretty sure I won’t qualify for financial aid so should I even bother to fill out a CSS Profile? Especially since you have to actually pay for it?

If you are certain you will be full pay then don’t bother filling it out. Did you run the NPCs to check? FAFSA for the new year will not be available until 1 Jan. Some schools require the Profile in advance of that.
