@Blazchkowski123 You didn’t meet the direct admit requirements because you applied after November 1. You will have to petition, and I would submit the petition ASAP because the priority deadline has already passed.
Hi! I applied in mid December and just got my acceptance to IUB today. My major is entrepreneurship and innovation in Kelley but my mail doesn’t specify that! Does that mean I’m rejected from Kelley? If so how does this work out.
My stats - 1320 SAT
GPA - We don’t have. I’m an international student from India with class rank of 1/30 since past 3 years
@Nealthakker You won’t be a direct admit to Kelley, but you might have a chance if you petition. I honestly have no idea how they handle students who don’t have GPAs. Even if you don’t get in via petition, you can still attend IU and get into Kelley after freshman year.
@iubaccounting Alright, thank you! I’ve heard it’s really hard to get into Kelley after the freshman year because of ruthless competition. Wouldn’t it be difficult for me if I don’t get into Kelley after my freshman year because then I would be stuck up with some another major for four years. I’m really worried and scare tbh, please help me out her by telling how exactly it works there!
You’re only competing against yourself to get into Kelley; get the required grades and you’re in. There’s a list of prerequisite classes to take; be very selective in those you choose. There’s a site where you can see the grade distribution of previous classes. You need a B or higher [B- doesn’t count] in every class, no withdrawals, and a 3.5 GPA. The weed out classes are A100, M118, and M119. For A100 study the old exams until you know them inside and out. If math isn’t your thing, you might be able to get by with taking M118 or M119 your freshman year and waiting for the other until after you’re in Kelley. My son got in through the standard process, you just need to take your studies seriously.
