When should I hear from A&M?

I applied late October, and everything was processed before mid-November. Should I hear back before April or is there no real way to know when?

Thanks :)

If you are not auto admit it could take til the end of april at the latest I believe.

Really even if I got it off that soon… shoot

Hey! you might hear by jan the 15th, maybe? by April for sure!
I applied on August and still waiting :/

Hope you get in!!

Thanks, you too!

Ah I was so nervous last year! I got a decision in Mid-April that I was on the waiting list, and beginning of May that I was accepted to the BlinnTEAM. I accepted the BlinnTEAM offer though because I realized it’s WAY cheaper (I pay about $2000 a semester as opposed to $4200ish) and you can get some basics out of the way at Blinn while taking some classes at A&M (:

sandrabui: What are your thoughts about BlinnTeam? Sounds like you would recommend taking Blinn TEAM if offered.

You have no Idea how much you have relieved my anxiety by letting me know about the alternative (Blinn) I heard you get to stay in TAMU campus (dorms) is that true?
also, are people friendly in Blinn?
Please! tell us your experience!

Sorry for the late reply! It’s actually not bad at all. I love that I can save my parents some money. I would recommend taking BlinnTEAM if money is a problem and you absolutely love A&M. I took only 13 hours total last semester, four at A&M and nine at Blinn. I made a 4.0 on both campuses. It really helps to get some of the harder courses out of the way at Blinn because it doesn’t affect your GPA when you transfer fully to A&M (but make sure to keep a 3.0 average). I don’t really know what else to say, so feel free to ask me specific questions.

For the BlinnTEAM, yes you can stay at TAMU dorms, BUT it gets filled up quickly since you don’t get offered BlinnTEAM until May. Most incoming freshman who are on the BlinnTEAM do not get on-campus housing due to space (but if you’re lucky you might!). Sophomores definitely do though.

Also, Blinn isn’t exactly A&M at all. They don’t say “Howdy” and do all the traditions. Most people at Blinn seem to be full-time Blinn students, but there are definitely a lot of BlinnTEAM students too. Most of the Blinn people I’ve met are pretty friendly though, except a select few (everyone meets someone they don’t like, right? haha).
