Hey! I had a quick question on whether or not I should retake the ACT for upcoming June or if I should wait till next fall. I just recently took the ACT in April, and I received my score today. Though it was only my first attempt, I only received a 30, and I'm aiming for at least a 32. (My biggest issue is time management to the point where I have to fill in bubbles for the last few questions of each section because I did not have time to read them, but that is another story.)
My overall question is what are the benefits of me retaking it in a month rather than waiting till next fall? Should I retake it soon just to get it over with and while everything is still fresh in my head? Or should I wait until next fall to which I will have more time to prepare but I will also have already applied to a few colleges?
One more thing! The deadline is in a couple of days so I'd greatly appreciate quick responses!
Thanks so much! :)

The question is whether you have already thoroughly prepared for the test. If you are consistently getting over 30 in your practice test, you are ready to retake it. At second attempt, you are more familiar with the environment and should be less nervous. If possible, try to finish all standardized tests for school application by June of the Junior year. Then you can focus on school applications, essays, visits, etc in the Summer. If necessary, you may still retake it in Fall.
