I took AP World History as a freshman last year and got a 5 on the exam. I didn’t send it to any colleges but I want to send it now that I know my score. Should I send it now or wait till I actually apply to the college?
Hold your horses. There’s no need to send scores before your senior year.
Frankly, most colleges don’t want your official AP test scores. The note on your transcript is all that’s required. You send official AP scores to the college you eventually choose – not as part of admissions usually.
Just self report your AP scores on the common app, and send your official scores once you committed to a college.
