When should I send out LoR reminders?

<p>On September 4th, I asked two of my teachers to fill out my Common Application evaluation forms. One of them is "Started" and the other is "Not started." I will be applying to two colleges with a deadline of Nov. 1st, so I'm planning to remind both teachers around October 15th if they have yet to complete the recommendation.</p>

<p>Does this sound like a good timeframe, or should I do it sooner/later?</p>

<p>I would remind them sooner. If they haven’t started by Oct 15, then they’ll only have two weeks to write and submit. Better to err on the safe side</p>
