Hello everyone!
First of all, I want to be a physicist/programmer in the future. So did I select the correct subjects for my AP examination?
Second, I’d like to inquire about when to start to get a 5. I’m now a 10th grader and going to 11th grade this month. Is it wise to study from now? Also, is it a good idea to study for BOTH SAT 2 physics and AP physics at the same time? Is it going to be helpful to study the same subject for both exams?
Also, I’d like some information about how is AP studying like, please. I’m totally new to this!
Thank you so much in advance.

Are you taking the class at your school? Also, what Physics are you taking?
Yes, hopefully! I’m not sure of that one, but these fields interest me:
optics - quantum mechanics - electrostatic sciences - energy forms
I used to read an AP physics B book but I was told physics B is now obsolete, so I’m not sure what physics should I take ATM.
@BethanyD If you are taking both courses at school, then start studying March/April. Your class should cover a lot of the material, and you should leave 2-3 months to just seal everything off.
It sounds like you are taking AP Physics C, no? If so, then sign up for both the AP Physics C: Mechanics and AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism tests in the spring.
Please know whether or not you will take these courses at school. What grade are you in? What math experience have you had? Do you have prior CS and Physics experience? And truth be told, a lot of top universities will make you retake these courses based on your major.
