When should I start studying for it and when to take it?

<p>Hi. I'm a freshman in college and am planning on doing Pre-Med.</p>

<p>When would I have enough information and knowledge to start studying for MCAT? In other words, when should I start studying for it?</p>

<p>Also, when should I start taking MCAT? Junior year? Sophomore year? Senior year?
Is there a disadvantage if i take the test many times if i want to go to a good med school?</p>

<p>Most people take it the spring (April, May) of their Junior year and start studying 3 or 4 months before their test date.</p>
