When should I start to study?

I am a sophmore and have completed Calc 1&2, Inorganic Chem, And Biology. I will be taking Orgo and Physics next semester. I was planning to go to kaplan or some other service when it is time to start studying. When should I start to study for the MCATS?

After you finish your pre-reqs and no more than 6 months in advance of when you want to take the exam.

6 months?! Two if you’re sensible, three if you’re paranoid, and four if you’re trying to impress your parents.

While I agree that 2-3 months was plenty of time for me, my experience from teaching is that some people benefit from as much as 6 months of prep (obviously, not 40+ hours a week stuff. At least I hope not)
