When should I take SAT/SUBJECT tests?

Ok so i just got my May scores back for subject tests...and they're pretty bad:
Math ii- 780
Physics- 620
US History- 730

My current SAT score is 2280

I want to bring both sets of scores up. I have registered for the SAT in June, and was planning on retaking the subject tests in October. BUT, should I flip this around and retake the subject tests in June?

One one hand, I don't want to forget all the material I've learned in APUSH and Physics over the summer. But on the other hand, I don't want my brain to be mushy for when I take the SAT in October.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

US History and Math II are fine. BUT if you want to retake subject tests, I’d say retake them in June. Your SAT score is amazing as is, and you’re more likely to get “mushy” for Oct. subject tests than the Oct. SAT I.

@mdog06 thank you! ill ask my mom about changing the dates
