I’m a high school junior. My plan is to take the ACT over the summer, June of this year. Should I take it June or wait until September of next year to take it?

If you have time over the Summer to prepare, take it once in September and then again in October. But only do this if you are serious about preparation. Be disciplined.

June. Get a book. Take a whole practice test or two as well.
June. You want to take it close to the time you take your school math finals, when it is all fresh in your brain. As stated above, use a practice book to prepare and take practice tests. You will still have time after you get your results to sign up for another test if you need to.
