Hi everyone. I am attending community college full time. When would be the best time of year to take the SAT and the ACT?

Likely in the fall (or maybe even the June ACT) so you have your scores well ahead of applying to transfer. Keep in mind that some schools may not require you to submit ACT/SAT scores if you have over a certain number of college credits.

Thanks. I have already begun studying for it because I want to get good scores because I want to transfer to USC or Stanford.

I’m not trying to dash your hopes here, but I’d like to warn you that those schools are extremely selective when it comes to transfer applicants. Unless you can show that you have perfect test scores, and have won a Nobel Prize or something, it’s very very very hard to get in from a community college. Practically impossible. Maybe set your sites on your state flagship or an in-state university?

I’m going full time and I have a 4.0
