So I am currently a junior in High school.
I haven't really prepared much for the SAT.

My school wants us to take it both December AND january. They say that because of the score choice option, it's okay if we screw up the december one. They say that usually during January students experience a huge improvement. However, I'm just skeptical of whether that huge improvement might have occurred without the december test.

So we have exams in December, and before that, the only time I'll really get to study is during thanksgiving break which is one week before my december exam. But for the January exam, I have the entire winter break to study.

Also the score choice option--I realise that some top schools don't even allow us to use that. So if I do screw up my december one, that won't be good.

I'm also taking both AP english exams this year so I think the preparation for that might help me on the SATs.

um my question is..should I take both? Or should I cancel the December one.
I'm thinking cancelling december, taking it jan, and if I don't do well, take it again in June and October, since by then I would have taken AP english, and I wouldn't have to risk taking it more than 3 times.

What do you guys think?
