When should I take them?

<p>Sometime toward the end of this school year. I would suggest testing in early Spring to get the feel for the tests then again in June or September of Next year (or both) to try and improve your scores.</p>

<p>Yes, wait until May or June of Junior year. (Check for school conflicts before registration…) Proms, large school celebrations & sporting events have been held the night before or day of SAT.
Once you get the first set of scores you can retake in the fall if necessary. Start thinking about SUBJECT tests now if any of your possible colleges require them for admission Maybe knock one of those off in early spring, a month before you take SAT. Try to get a great PSAT score next month. A PSAT exam is the best practice for SAT.</p>
