When should you consider Re-taking classes?

So I'm finishing my third semester and it could be consider pretty good for an average students , mostly A's and B's. I'm disappointed because I know that I could have gotten all A's if I had taken time to study but I did not , but is all my fault.

But my first two semester were horrible, I had some issues. I was forced to take a math class that was not part of my curriculum and 2 physics class.

I'm totally to blame for the grade I got in the math class , since I don't remember ever studying or doing any homework . I think I study for the second for exam a grand total of 30 minutes and I got a B+ but I did not study for the first or the final exam so I ended with a C.

In physics , lets just say I love my professors they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet but nobody understand then. I remember once writing the formula that he wrote and then 2 days later the professor telling me that the formula was wrong. That happen a lot .

I'm part of a college system that is known for being brutal with math and science.

So my grades for the first two semester were:

A,A,A,C,C

A,A,A,B,C

30 credits + 6 credits from advance classes in high school = 36

So without adding the grades from this semester I have a gpa of 3.33. Which is horrible for me , since I never get grades like that. But laziness and rooming my first year really hurt me.

I plan to take around 166 credits , and at this moment I'm finishing 16 credits. So I have around 114 credits to finish .

I want a gpa of minimum 3.68. I know that considering how lazy I said I was , you probably are thinking is impossible but I know my potential and what I can do when I actually study. I'm ready to get serious this time.

I know that my college gives the math in the summer time and I could probably pay from my own money and retake it. I don't know if physic is offer.

Should I focus on the rest of the classes and forget about those C's or retake the math class because is improbable to get 3.68 with those C's in the long run.

With 114 more credits in your future and consistently good grades from here on out, I wouldn’t think a 3.6 is impossible. A 3.9? Maybe. But a 3.6? That seems like a decent goal. I’m not doing the math, mind you.
