When should you interview?

Hi! Sorry if this is the wrong forum but it seemed to fit the best.

Anyways, I was wondering when one normally interviews at a college? For some reason, I thought one should interview after he/she applies, but it seems most people interview much before that. Also, should you interview after you have finished your standardized testing, or does it not matter?

Very few colleges interview at all. For those that do, they offer some on-campus interviews before application season. Even fewer offer alumni volunteer interviews at your home locale.

I think you may be overestimating the # of interviews that occur. I’d bet you 95%of applications don’t have, nor need, an accompanying interview.
