i'm applying to UC's, Uni of Washington, Duke, Bos U, and Johns Hopkins.

anytime. Go ahead and list the colleges when you sign up for the test so you won't have to pay extra later. Once they receive them, the colleges just file the scores waiting for an app to be submitted. Once the app is submitted, they add the score report to your file.

uhh...I just took the SAT for the first time on December 4th and I'm not sure how well I did (I seriously don't know) I'm only a junior...should I still send them?...I dont want colleges to see my bad scores

BlueT-

The CB always sends all your scores to the colleges you select. So, if you take the new SAT (which some schools will require for the Class of '06), the CB will send the new SAT scores, as well as all of your old scores. If you take the test 4 times, they send a report listing all four scores. In essence, colleges will see the Dec 4 scores anyhow. Thus, you might as well wait until you see how you did prior to sending. If great scores, then you might consider paying extra and sending to one or two of your highly selective schools to show an early interest. But, if the scores are not great, then don't bother bcos they'll see them anyhow.

hey when we ask for score reports to be sent..like call up and ask or send the form..will they send everything..like sats sat iis and ap scores..or do we have to request it individually?

SAT I and SAT II scores are sent together, and AP scores are sent by themselves (so if you wanted to send all three, you'd have to make 2 requests to Collegeboard).

yes, all SAT scores (SAT I and subject tests) are sent in one report.

Why does it take them 3-5 weeks after your request? It takes less time for them to get your actual SAT, grade it, and tell you your score, than it does to report to a college the same score! Doesn't make any sense.

its a scam that's what it is... so you'll shell out extra money for rush report. Seriously someone needs to find a way to screw CB.

well the colleges give them too much importance..what can we do..?i think they are all working together..!!grr
