When they say that they'd "superscore"...

Hi,
I'm trying to apply early for UNC, NC State, Georgia Tech, Maryland and Stanford early, and all of them have said that they'd superscore my SAT results.

When they say this, can I superscore it myself and just send the colleges my best sittings?
Or do I have to send EVERY SINGLE test that I've ever taken? (If so, does it include sittings I took for NCSSM*?)

Thank you!

NCSSM (North Carolina School of Science and Math) is a STEM school in my state which required SATs to be taken during sophomore year. .... let's just say that I don't want to show them off if I had the option.

I do not believe that any of those schools require you to send ALL scores. You should verify on CB site or the school’s sites to be sure.

What you do need to do - is send the official score from each sitting - if you want to include a score from that sitting.

Does that make sense?

If you want reading from date X - send X. If you want to send math from day Y - send Y as well. They will then pull the highest individual score from each test date - and superscore it for the highest composite.

The only thing you have to verify is if those schools require ALL scores to be sent.

Stanford is an all score school. I hope this helps GL.

I looked into it, and it turns out Maryland and Stanford require all scores; the other three allow me to use Score Choice.

Yeah, that helped a lot. Thank you very much!
