Does anyone know if there are any disadvantages to waiting to send in the acceptance of admission card? I plan on going to Harvard, but I was thinking of waiting until after the April program to officially accept. Are there any benefits to accepting right away? I don't want to miss out on any info.

And also, when I withdraw my applications from other schools, should I withdraw before or after accepting Harvard? I assume this doesn't make that much of a difference, but any thoughts would be appreciated.

Well, hypothetically, it's possible that you could go to the admit weekend and hate all your future classmates so much that you change your mind. If you are the kind of person who likes to be 100% certain before you commit, well, that's why they give you a few weeks to think about it. There's nothing wrong with finalizing May 1 (or whatever the deadline is).
