Hello everyone. I am wondering when is the best time to submit an application to a school that uses a rolling admissions policy? For example: the University of Pittsburgh. Would December be too late?

Preferably sooner than later. Rolling admissions schools might have merit scholarships, which are available on a first come first serve basis.

If you’re going for merit scholarships at Pitt, then Dec is late.

If you’re just talking about admissions, then it’s a balance. If you don’t have any major gpa/test score increases, awards, etc. during sr year then it’s best to apply early when there are more spaces available. But if you’re hoping to raise your gpa, retake tests, receive recognition, etc., then you may want to wait.

Thanks guys!
