Applications open up in 1-2 days for UBC. I am an international student studying in the American curriculum. I finished 11th grade and going into 12th grade.
I have already taken PreCal, AP Calc(AB + BC - online), Chem 11, AP Physics I during 10th-11th grade. GPA - 4.0 in ALL of those.
12th grade - Will take AP Comp Sci A, AP Chem, AP Physics II, Eng 12.
ACT + Writ = 25, SAT Math Level II = 770.
AP Calc AB - 5.
QUESTIONS:
(1) At what time of the year should I apply, October, November?
(2) Is it wise to drop AP Physics II, and take AP Statistics instead?
(3) Should I retake SAT/ACT?
Have you applied yet? I have and I think I am going to submit my academics before January 11, 2016 for initial admission evaluations (kinda shy though, coz I really wanted to retake the SAT exam on jan 24…)
I think you have a GREAT chance. You’ll get in most likely, unless your personal profile is trash. Good luck!
I took the SAT exam and scored a 1730 ( bleh ) buuuuuuuut I contacted the international admissions office and was told I can update my scores until March 15 :] So I registered for Jan 23 SAT and plan on taking the ACT in February.
