<p>I am BRAND new to this forum. I just had a very general question to ask. I am a current community college student and it's time to begin applying for CSU and UC campus' if you qualify...I currently have 33 units transferabled...and I am wondering if I should begin to apply now for admission in 2010...or would it be better to wait another year and then apply when I have completed 60 or almost completed everything....</p>
<p>The Reason i am asking this is because I have wasted so much time screwing around at community college and i finally got my act together and I don't want to wait another year to apply...but i'm afraid if I rush things now...i might decrease my chances of getting accepted simply because i don't have the entire 60 units completed....</p>
<p>I just would like to know from someone in the same situation or has come from this situation and what ur advice would be to someone who is anxious to apply and wanting to get into a university...</p>

<p>But, to answer your question, it depends–if after this fall semester you will have 33 units, then you’ll have to wait, but if you mean that before the fall you had 33 and youll have 60 by the end of spring, you’re fine!</p>
<p>Also, they want you to complete (preferably) the IGETC (General Education) course pattern, which is in a little blue packet haha. T26E4 was right about visiting your college transfer counselors, because they can judge what you’ve taken and see if it fits igetc.</p>
<p>hopefully you’ll have 60 credits at the end of spring or at least if not then some ap credits to help–either way don’t worry! there’s always next year (And maybe winter if the stupid budget cuts get resolved!!)</p>
<p>that’s exactly what i’m hoping for…i’m hoping that schools will admit in the Spring…because most schools now only admit for fall…I have already completed 33 units…and by the end of this fall (current 09 semester) i will have 43 units…then in winter take 3 or 6 units…depending on what classes i can get into…and then hopefully finish the remaining units in the spring…but i just don’t want to apply and because worse case scenario happens…i cant’ get into one class and i’m shy a couple units…I just don’t want to complete by the spring and not have all applied…and then have to wait an ENTIRE year to enter in fall of '11…that’s ridiculous and to me…it feels like a waste of time…=/</p>
