<p>I know UVA has no early action or early decision application, but does applying much earlier affect admission rates (like rolling admission or something of that nature)?</p>
<p>I already applied ED to cornell but i really love UVA and do not want to mess up my chance of getting in there but i wanted to wait until dec 12th to start applying just in case on the off chance i do get into cornell then i wouldn't have wasted time and money applying.</p>

<p>You could wait, I don’t see why you would be penalized for applying later (just not after the deadline)</p>

<p>We don’t have rolling admission. Submit when you’re ready to submit. The advantage to submitting early is that items are processed more quickly prior to deadline. You’ll avoid the stress of looking at an unchanging status page, wondering why your transcript hasn’t been checked in. </p>
<p>The mail will pick up in the next two weeks and we will no longer be able to process all of the mail on the day it arrives in our office.</p>
