When to arrive for Prefrosh Weekend?

I'm definitely planning to go up to Cambridge in April, but I was wondering if it would be worth it to try to schedule a Friday evening arrival to avoid having to take a red-eye on Saturday morning.

Any thoughts?

bump, I'm interested in this too.

I'll find out for you guys if someone else doesn't get to it first. You can always try the unofficial yahoo! group for Harvard admits or the unofficial admit students' website prefrosh.net.

how cool would it be if we all met up on friday?

I'm getting there friday night. We're driving up (I'm from PA), so it just makes more sense that way. Plus, I'll get to be there before all the masses of prefroshes are there, so I figure I'll get to see a little more of what Harvard's really like.

Yeah the more I think about it either way it's just gonna be better if I catch an afternoon flight and just arrive Friday evening.

There will be lots of prefrosh around on Friday. You should be able to find someone to crash with, either through official or unofficial channels.

You guys should definitely come early, and arrange a place and time to meet up with other prefrosh (although, it could also be a good time to get to know your host).

We did a similar thing last year (ABP meetup, then stein clubs) + had a ton of fun.

Pres. Summers' welcome to the Prefrosh is scheduled for 10 a.m. on that Saturday.

That's weird--I would think Larry would wait until Sunday to talk. The Saturday is pretty busy with move-in, etc.
