Any thoughts on whether to order textbooks online through the bookstore or wait until going to classes to see what if there are any books that they actually won’t need or use much? Also, if ordering online and you pick the used option, any idea how much highlighting they accept when buying back books? Back in the old days, i would buy used but go to the bookstore and pick the ones that looked like the previous owner had hardly used! If ordering online, I presume you don’t have that option.
Wait until class starts. Your professor will give you a syllabus with the required textbook on it.
Also make sure to look online, there are some places where you can download a digital copy of the book for free. If you can’t find a version online for free, you can use websites like http://www.textbookspyder.com/ and https://texts.com/ to find used version of textbooks as well as rental copies for a significant discount.
