lamquach- I am right there with you. I will have 64 credits through PSEO from North Hennepin, but my ACT is only 24 as well. My application tracker just changed to “carefully considered” yesterday. I applied to CLA though. Here’s to hoping we both get accepted!

Thank you DEV311, good luck to you too.

I’m running to the mailbox everyday this week :)

I just got an email tonight from the housing department saying:

“According to University records, you have not yet confirmed your enrollment. We hope you are planning to attend the
University in the fall and we are writing to remind you that in order to be guaranteed a space in University Housing, you must confirm your enrollment by the deadline on May 2, 2011.”

Has anyone else gotten this message? Does this mean I have been accepted? My app tracker still says “very carefully considering” and I haven’t received anything in the mail.

@DEV311 omg… I think that’s a sign that you’re in because if you were rejected they wouldn’t care if you confimred your enrollment. Just my guess :)

Also did you get that in your normal email or the U of M email?

@CarmelApple- I received it in my normal email account (the one I put on the app when I applied). I think this probably means I am accepted, but I don’t want to get my hopes up too high until I get the letter.

Dang congratulations, I should be hearing my decision soon, hopefully tomorrow.

So I have no idea what just happened. I was waitlisted over a week ago. It changed online about a week ago, and then I got the letter. But now it says my application is back under review. Has anyone else seen this happen?

Glassxkiss, do you think the web site updated wait listed first and the letter just arrived snail mail? Or, does the letter look like it is a post-waitlist letter? I will say, I have never seen a more disorganized admission system than the U. Or, perhaps the glass is half full and they wait-llisted you and the next day turned around and are reviewing your app for admission and you’ll get the final decision soon. Last year, another student I know said they were wait listed and never, ever heard back from the U again…in any form. They ended up going to UW-Madison where their decision was postponed but got in the next month. Good luck. Keep us posted. Hopefully you’ll get some clarity soon. Where else did you apply?

I got accepted today to the college of education and human development. I am super excited to get in, but kind of bummed because I wanted to get into CLA. Does anyone know if you can take classes in CLA if you arent admitted to that school, or can you only take classes offered through your college? Good luck to everyone else still waiting!

I had my “Golden Gopher” application in at the beginning of November, and I’m one of the Feb. 17, “Your application is being very carefully considered,” people.

You’d think that if they were going to reject me, that they would have done it already. Instead, I’m still waiting on a decision- I wonder if that’s a good or bad thing…

Can you tell me your stats? Curious because my daughter has been waiting for 3 months, applied to the College of Education & Human Development and really wants to be a teacher!! Just curious since she’s waited so long to hear and you are the first person I’ve noticed here who was accepted to that school. Thanks

I completely agree. I’m also one of the “Feb 17” people, and I’d wish they’d just tell me. Especailly if it’s a rejection, it really can’t be that hard to change the status to rejected.

I’m also a “Feb 17” person :P

I am a Feb.17.
got a rejection.

I am a Feb.17.
got a rejection.

I’m a Feb.20 person… Is that means I won’t get an acceptance?
