when to finish regular apps while waiting for ED decision?

okay, i understand that i should get an early start at the regular apps. i have long time ago. but should i only start submitting it AFTER ED decisions come out? that includes the supplements, app, money...and what about SAT scores from CB?

I'm waiting until after I find out about ED to save the money (though I did send SAT scores and recs already). I have also been writing all of my RD essays so I'll be prepared if I need to send them in.

u sent ur SAT scores already because they're included in the "free" package, right? i didn't do that b/c i honestly didn't know about it. i thought u could use that free option anytime after the scores come out? lol stupid me.

and yea i'm definitely writing those essays as well....

I'd go ahead and submit supplements and everything you can that's free, rather than waiting to cram everything in that two week margin between ED decisions and RD app deadlines

The free is only good for nine days, and you might want to send them now as it can take 3 weeks for school to recieve and log them in to their system. D also sent all transcripts.

yea supps i will...i don't know about the SAT scores though...does it even matter when u send them? i know that they take time to get to the colleges

Have teachers send the recommendations, so you don't have to rush them during their Christmas holiday if you don't get in.

oh yea, right. only one sends it herself though. the rest all give the letters to guidance simply

Oh yeah, I also sent transcripts. Basically I sent everything except the apps/supplements and have prepared all of the apps/supplements so I can just submit if I get rejected/deferred. I don't want to have to cram it all into that 2 weeks after the notification date...
