When to mail transcript?????

<p>My senior year has just begun and I am doing well in my classes. I also am applying regular decision - however, I already have started submitting college supplements on the common app and I want to give colleges the other materials they need like my transcript instead of waiting two months and separating everything. </p>

<p>Because I am doing well, should I wait for the first marking period to end and THEN mail my transcript with the classes I'm taking/the grades next to it? Or should I complete the process while I can now? Does it even matter?</p>

<p>It depends on the colleges. Most private schools will require you to submit a transcript along with your application or within a time frame. They may also require you to submit one mid-year, and then the final one at the end of the school year. For the public schools, most of them don’t ask for it until the end of the year.</p>
