when to send in common app--- help??

Hi- so I’m an upcoming senior, and I’m not really happy with the ACT score I have now. If I were to send in my common app/other applications BEFORE I retake the ACT, would I still be able to send my new ACT score in later? Or, would it just be a better idea to wait to send everything until I get my September ACT scores? (I would normally think the latter is a good idea, but the only problem is I’m applying ED to one school and I’m worried that sending the application in so close to the November 1st due date would reflect badly on me.)

Thanks!!

Yeah, that is okay to send your app now and send your future ACT score later, but there is a deadline. The deadline depends on the school you are attending, but it is usually in January.

However, there is no reason to finish EVERYTHING now. Just finish bit by bit then when everything is done by January, send the whole thing.

When you apply, unless it is a rolling admissions school, has no bearing on how they evaluate your application. As long as you submit it on time, you will be fine
