Hey guys I'm applying ED to Cornell. I know that it takes 1-2 weeks for collegeboard to send score reports to a college. Should I be sending them now? I have taken the October subject tests though. Should I wait until the results of those come out before sending my score report? Or does Cornell need to have received all scores by Nov. 1st?

Thanks!

*Also, should I rush the scores or not?

i am facing the same problem…please let me know

Do not rush. Someone who posted previously said don’t rush because Cornell doesn’t start looking at applications till later or something…idk look the post up, tis somewhere on this forum.

ya don’t rush the score reports. it doesn’t really help your case. as long as you took the tests October 10 ( a few weeks ago) or before, you should be aight.

Can someone please give us a definitive answer? thanks.

Will it be fine if I don’t tell collegeboard to send the score report until Oct 29th? (if applying for ED). Does the score report need to arrive * at Cornell by Nov 1st???

okay here is the answer you need… just because the ‘deadline’ is november one doesn’t mean that they start selecting applicants on the first of november. Since you took the SATs in october you should be okay, and there’s nothing else left to do. The website specifically says that you can take the tests as late as october if you’re applying E.D. don’t rush the score reports, like i said before. it’s a waste of money.

I asked an admissions officer and she told me that Cornell accepts November SAT scores for ED so as long as you send it in by the time the November SAT scores come out, you should be fine. I just sent mine yesterday
