When do you guys start studying for your AP exams?

i'd like to know also.

like the weekend before

You guys haven't started yet?

Sheez man, I'm chugging down Mountain Dews like a man gulping water in the desert.

ehh... i studies half a week for US History and a weekend before for Psychology.

i know some freakin' juniors that start studying a month before. i think they are crazy.

but it depends on how well you know your subject already.

Ummmm definitely don't start in April. That's what I did hehe. Wasn't so successful... I wouldn't start studying only a week before though. I'd say give yourself about two months. Make sure you really go over old material. And when I say two months, I mean begin studying once, maybe twice a week for 30-60 minutes at a time. Nothing hardcore. It's way better to start too early than too late.

How about you start studying the day the course starts? That's why teachers assign homework. Saves all the stress at the end.

LOL well you could technically study from the day you start the course... or you could um.. slack and do minimal work and make up for it the week b4...personally i like the high of caffiene and the challenge of it all... :)

I self-study like 6 ap exams (I am not sure yet) and will study all of them in april. (bio-chem-phy B-calc BC-statistics-english language and composition)

I'm taking the SAT this saturday and my second SAT II in December. I like to start very early, though, even if it only means reading random pages here and there when I'm feeling particularly bored/ambitious. I don't typically start hardcore studying (like almost daily if possible) until March or so, though.

I learned all of AP US starting 5 days before the test and I got a 5. And my other slacker friend started studying 4 days before and she got a 4. So maybe your score will be the number of days before you start studying before the test!!! OMG try it, and see if it works...in fact, if you try and learn APUS 1 day before the test I can absolutely positively money back guarantee that you will get a 1.

so if i study now for apush i could get 140???? woah how many college credits is that?!?!??!?!

No no no FindFish...you're confused. Past 5 days, your score is the remainder you get when dividing by 5. (0=5 though)

s snack-

I did not even crack open my AP US History Book until the day before (I skipped school) and I got a 4. Nice theory though :)

US History, 2 nights before, 5. Bio, 2 months before, 5. English, never, 5. Psych, 3 months before or so--but it was a self-study. 5.
