When to Start Taking Practice Tests

I am an incoming Junior and, of course, intend on taking the SAT in my junior year. Is it too early to begin official practice tests (as I do not want to waste them)? I am using both the blue book and the online course for tests.

Also, when I am taking them, should I always try to simulate the actual SAT experience? That is, only short breaks after hour+ intervals?

You should start on them. You can always buy more practice tests. Just make sure to spread them out.

Your second question can be answered by [this thread](<a href=“Xiggi's SAT prep advice - SAT Preparation - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/68210-xiggis-sat-prep-advice.html</a>)

Start Now, it is very important to get as much practice as you can
