I’m going to take the Math Level 2 Subject test on June 2 (it’s like a week after school ends). When should I prepare for it? Should I wait about a month before or start at the beginning of the spring semester?
This depends on what level math you’re currently taking. If you’re in precalc or higher, you probably won’t need much review at all.
@h0kulani I’m in precal, but I don’t really believe in my teacher’s teaching skills. I’m nervous I won’t have all the information I need for the test. And I really don’t want to retake it
You’ll be fine. Get the prep book from Princeton Review and read through it/solve the problems. The test is really not that hard, I promise. A 780/790+ is attainable, as it’s curved so that missing a few questions still results in an 800. It shouldn’t take more than 2 weeks of review. I took it in June, too, and only started studying after school got out. If you’re really worried, you could start in May, which could leave time to ask a teacher questions if you’re confused about any concepts.
