<p>I've been accepted to UCSD and UCLA and I am strongly leaning toward attending UCSD for pre-med because I think there will be less competition (GPA, research, LOR)</p>
<p>When should I send in my letter of intent? I have already applied for housing, so is there any reason to not wait until the last moment?</p>

<p>There is no reason to rush, your SIR is not due until May 1st. Take your time. Think it over. Forget about it for a week or so and come back to it. After all the waiting YOU have done over the last few months, it is your turn to make the colleges wait a bit

<p>Wow, you already heard from UCLA? Did you receive financial aid award letters from both schools? If not you might want to wait for that as it might sway your decision a bit. Take your time deciding, once your SIR with one, it eliminates you from the other.</p>
