How much knowledge is required to take the Chemistry subject test? Should I take it directly after chemistry or wait until I have taken AP Chemistry? How about the Math II exam? Is precalculus/trigonometry sufficient?
The standard prep for the Chem test is the first introductory course in chemistry. While some students feels better prepared after AP Chem, it is not necessary.
Not only is it sufficient, if you take Math 2 too far after having taken precalc, you risk forgetting some of the earlier concepts. There are no math concepts tested more advanced than precalc
