when to take sat and subject test?

<p>So i took sats last year in may and again on oct. 9th
My score wasnt so great and i dont know what i got on the oct 9th one
but i feel like i might not be happy with my score. So i want to retake it the 3rd time as the final one and get the best score i can get. But i also have to take 2 subject tests..for college</p>

<p>yeah sooo idk if i should wait until december and fully prepare myself for the sat or take it in november.. with less amount of time. I dont know if december is too late because ill be applying to colleges and good sat score can increase my chances of going to better colleges and perphaps change my college list but if i decide to add on colleges i feel like my counselor wont be able to hand in my recomendation/transcript on time. </p>

<p>soooo when should i take test?? i cant decide because right now im applying to colleges like auburn and vcu..but if i get a good sat score i can apply to jmu.. as regular decision..</p>

<p>I’d say the #1 priority would be to take those SAT II’s (subject tests) ASAP (if they’re required for the colleges on your list). As far as re-taking the SAT, the December date is often too late. I would talk to your college counselor about whether or not it’d be too late for the colleges on your list. If not, go for it!</p>
