I'm currently a sophomore in undergrad and I'm planning to study up for the LSAT this semester and take it at the beginning of the summer. Is this too early? What is the "normal" time to take the LSAT? I was also wondering if taking a class like formal logic would help me significantly with the test, because I am taking it in the fall and was thinking maybe I should wait to take the LSAT until after this course. Thanks for the help.

come on, no one?

What you need to consider is that most law schools do not take your highest LSAT if you take more than one test. Instead, they will average them. Thus, if you take one right after sophomore year and do poorly and then one after junior year and do well, your considered score is going to be the average of the two. In other words, it may be better to wait until after your junior year so you have one more year of college and maturity behind you. And a logic course can provide some help.
