When to take the test?

When should I take the SAT. Currently I want to take the march test but Im not sure if i should wait till May, when iwant to take 2 subject tests. I started studying basically two hours every weekday, and memorizing like 10 words a day from the Kaplan flash cards. Im using rocket review and Im gonna start using the Blue Book, as well as the Barrons 2400. Wat do ya think?

i would take it march and take the subject tests in may

Is two months a good enough time to prepare, plus I have a whole week of in February. Plus to learn like about 900 words, i know basically 200 already. Anyone also reccoment how to usethe blue book along wiht rocket review. Thanks

BB doesn’t really have strategies, just topics. Reading through the first 350 pages of it is really just a waste of time. Use its practice tests though, for they, having been made by Collegeboard, are the only type of practice test that is official.

Why not take the SAT twice? I mean, if you’re not ready in March then don’t take it. But the practice tests are the best way to gauge your preparedness for the test, and so if you’re consistently scoring in the xx00’s, it’s likely to assume you’ll score in the xx00’s on the actual SAT. And if not, well, no harm done, there’s always May.

Take it march so there will be less stress between March and May. Take it one step at a time.

Any other opinions??
Thankz

If you study consistently, you should be fine taking it in March. Taking it earlier would also have the benefit of more flexibility in re-tests as necessary. Also good to just get it out of the way =)
