I just got an e-mail confirmation from UCI (ironically the only one) that they've started the review process for my application. How can this be so? I have yet to update my fall grades because my ccc hasn't updated them yet.

Per the matrix:

3 Fall grades are generally used to help borderline applicants. Campuses may not use Fall grades if a student is clearly eligible or ineligible for admission.

Gasp! but I'm borderline! (3.62) my fall semester grades would boost me up to a 3.689! When is the last day to update them?!???!?

The first day hasn't even started yet.

oh...uh...hehehe I am red with embarassment.

Heh, well, I believe January 15th is the date. Once that happens, there should be a link on this page:

WillDo, I got that UCI email as well. I was like, "did I get accepted?!" Haha.

Really nikkei? Did you get any e-mail confirmations from any other UCs besides UCI?

e-mail confirmation? I do not receive any e-mail confirmation from UCI...am I okay?

You guys--

go to the UC application status website: https://www.ucapplication.net/ucap/
(it's now up.)

It will say if and when your application was submitted to each of the UCs you applied to.

You'll get an email telling you when you need to do the update. Also I recall only getting a confirmation from a couple of the UC's last year, nothing to really worry about, as long as it's correct on your application. Remember, Berkeley has it's own update form seperate from the one used by all the other schools.

berkeley has its own update form? can I update fall grade for berkeley admission using the same website?

WillDo, nope, only UCI thus far.
