When to use AP Credits?

Hey everybody. How do you decide whether or not you want to use your AP credits?

I will be at Miami, and they allow the use of AP credits towards the 90 credit requirement!

If I use my credits, I will graduate earlier or have a lighter courseload or be able to take classes at that I am interested in or at a higher level. (Wow, what a sentence) On the other hand, if I don't use my AP credits, I will basically be taking a course I already have a great background in and then I will have "padding" grades to keep my gpa up. How do you decide whether or not to use them, or which of the AP credits to use? I am so confused! Thanks so much for any advice!

retake the classes that you dont feel you have a really good foundation on, or maybe consider retaking some classes that pertain to your major, so that you can make sure you have a strong foundation on them.. This is what i would do, but then again, i have two more years till college.. so im not sure.. lol, hope i helped.. :)

see if there is a reward for taking higher level classes.

I know in some programs, APing out and taking higher classes is recommended because the program will bump up the grade by one level. (For instance, B's count as A's when computing your semester GPA)
