When we actually choose classes

I was under the impression that we chose all our classes at orientation.

What is this link at MyUCLA?

<a href="http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/schedule/schedulehome.aspx%5B/url%5D">http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/schedule/schedulehome.aspx</a></p>

they unlock when we go to orientation and thats when we first select them, but after that i believe we can change them online

Your fall enrollment time is at the date of YOUR orientation.

How can we get an idea of which core classes to take?

This depends on your major, college (Letters & Science, Engineering, etc.), whether or not you have completed the Writing I and Foreign Language Requirements, etc.

Ok. I'm just worried, because my orientation isn't until August, and I'm just sitting around doing NOTHING except stuff for my Bruincard. This is kind of OT, but do we take our math placement test at orientation?

yes you do

Are there specific "freshman" classes we need to take or do we have a lot to choose from?

Writing 1 is a lock. Refer to your departments' website for the curriculum, so you can plan your scheudle before Orientation, instead of relying SOLELY on the OC's suggestions.

if i'm going to the first orientation session, how do i sign up for classes if i don't know my ap scores?????????

should i call early and pay $8?

does ucla need proof of passing scores in order for me to sign up for classes?

ap scores are on my.ucla.edu right now under the admissions tab, so they already have them and you already know them before you go

does anyone know the name of the reader used in Eng Comp 3??
