Will they tell us exactly when the early decisions are coming out???

They are coming out on December 10th around 3pm, that is the word on the other threads on this topic.

I know that. But will they Email us in advance that the decisions are coming out shortly?

Yes, they are suppose to send an email with instructions for signing into the My Decision Portal, it is different than the site we signed into to track our applications. Maybe it
will come out tomorrow given it will be 1 week away otherwise sometime next week we will definitely get it. Good luck!

I literally just got off the phone with them. I asked her would they send an email and she just said “Decisions are going to come out Dec. 10th at 3 o’clock.” I guess she just thought that was enough info. So not sure about the email but if you call they’re just going to tell you 12/10 @ 3pm aha

It’s now officially posted on the “My Message” section of the portal (12/10 @ 3PM). The instructions are there as to how to get your decision.

OMG OMG OMG!
We will be posting decisions for Early Decision applicants online on Friday, December 10th, 2010 at 3 p.m. E.S.T. When you log in to your MyPenn Applicant Portal you will be automatically taken to the Decision site (http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/decisions/). The Decision site uses the same UserName and Password as the MyPenn Applicant Portal. The Undergraduate Admissions Office has closed the Early Decision cycle, therefore Early Decision applicants are no longer able to review the status of their application materials.

There it is folks! The admissions committee has finished reviewing applications. Everyone must wait, but there is an admission status for every single one of us!

OMG can’t believe it is coming out next week. Good luck to all!!!

Did anyone get any requests for additional financial aid info, my thoughts are they only work up the financials for those that were accepted, is that true?

freshman1, I don’t think so…they are supposed to be need-blind.

freshman1
did you get a request for additional financial info??

No, I did not.

Not necessarily.

geekorathletic, what do you mean? If they are need blind, doesn’t it make sense that asking for additional financial info has nothing to do with admission?

He could be an International. Internationals with the exception of Canadians and Mexicans don’t get the need-blind favor.

You’re right. I shouldn’t have assumed that freshman1 was domestic.
