No, the tenth isn't true its just a rumor that was started by the other Ivy boards which may or may not be true for them, but absolutely isn't true for Yale.

The decisions will be online, not emailed to us.

Last year, they told Yale applicants they'd hear on the 16th, but they were online on the 15th, so I think the general hope/consensus for Yale this year is that we'll hear on the evening of the 15th, but no later than the morning of the 16th.

I don't think anything is for sure, other than the fact that Yale officially said that they'd be up at 9 am on the 16th. Therefore, that's the absolute latest I think they'll be up.

very exciting. and my mommy will be home by then... so ill pull the printer trick and go downstairs to look at it with her. i do not want to get rejected/deferred while looking at the computer screen at the top of the stairs.

I just told my mom about the new confirmed decision time, and she was like "Oh my gosh! I have to be home when you get it! So we can scream together! Or cry together! I'm going to rearrange all of the patients in the office so I can be home..."

I will feel soooo foolish when she does all that, and I end up getting deferred :o

PS that "embarassment" smiley is seriously too happy

after all my mom did with this college application process - plus raising us four kids for three years alone because my dad had to live out of state for work - i cant imagine looking at the Yale decision without her. itd just feel wrong.
